My Favorite Products to Splurge On

I think everybody has things they would love to buy all the time but can’t. Things that are extra and more exciting that the typical products they buy. I mean, I can only get so excited about Clorox wipes, diapers, or hand sanitizer. The following are a few of my favorite things that I like to splurge on when I can.

Biosilk

I recently started using Biosilk as an adult. My mom used to put it in my hair all the time, and the smell reminds me of summers as a kid. It used to seem expensive, but a tiny bottle lasts for months. You don’t need much or your hair gets greasy. A pea-sized amount makes my hair soft and silky.

Fancy by Jessica Simpson

This is my absolute favorite scent! But again, the price sometimes puts me off because I know I could buy a typical body spray for way cheaper. Whenever I do splurge on perfume, I feel better about myself and love the way I smell.

Wallflowers

I love, love, love going to Bath & Body Works and could spend so much money there. Wallflowers are my first stop. There are always so many to choose from, and every season has new, exciting scents. Wallflowers improve the atmosphere in my home because it always smells good without any hassle.

Dr Pepper Lip Smackers

My sister introduced me to these, and I have been addicted ever since. I love the giant Lip Smackers and have Dr Pepper ones in my bathroom, my purse, my diaper bag, and my hall closet. I have spares! They smell good and give my lips a little tint of red without being over the top.

Hair Dye

When I was in middle school and high school, I had streaked blond hair with red or purple underneath. I loved it, but I didn’t love the upkeep. Last year I started dying my hair purple, something I’d wanted to do for years. I love it! It still requires upkeep, but it’s a lot cheaper to do it myself at home, and I don’t have to make small talk at the salon for two hours.
